Here are some other Filmmakers' work we recommend :

El Mosta' mara  (2008)
(Directed by Abu Bakr Shawy)

In Egypt's last Leper Colony, the fates of the least fortunate of society meet. Their ill-perceived ailment has made people afraid, turning them into outsiders. Badaa, a 50 year old woman, has suffered severe disfigurement due to Leprosy, yet she manages to work as a garbage collector, besides being a single mother raising four children. Her story is just one of the voices from the Abu Zaabal Leper Colony.

Soraya Sadeed - founder of Help The Afghan Children

Inshallah - Diary of an Afghan Woman (2002)
Directed by Randall Sherbo

Since 1993, when she founded the U.S. based aid organization Help the Afghan Children, Suraya Sadeed has led eighteen relief missions to her homeland, smuggling food and supplies through Taliban-held territory and setting up often clandestine schools and medical clinics, this is her story.

A Note of Triumph: The Golden Age of Norman Corwin (2005)

Directed by Eric Simonson

On May 8th, 1945, writer, director Norman Corwin broadcast ON A NOTE OF TRIUMPH, an unforgettable homage to the end of war in Europe. This film shines a light on a lost work of genius, and examines it's haunting resonance to today's current events.

On Tiptoe: The Music of Ladysmith Black Mambazo (2000)

Directed by Eric Simonson

This short film packs more emotion into 45+ minutes than most films pack into 145. The cinematography, editing, and audio of this film is as good as it gets. You'll immediately become a fan of Joseph Shabalala, the leader of the amazing Ladysmith Black Mambazo, the South African group best known for their incalculable contributions to Paul Simon's "Graceland" album in the mid-1980's. The beauty of this film, apart from the production values, lies in it's storytelling, transcending typical objectivity found all too often in documentaries similar in nature. As with all good documentaries, "On Tiptoe" takes you on a journey, making you feel as though you are side-by-side with the filmmakers. It is a journey you are likely never to forget.

Rivers and Tides - Andy Goldsworthy working with Time (2000)
Directed by Thomas Riedelsheimer

Landscape sculptor Andy Goldsworthy is renowned throughout the world for his work in ice, stone, leaves, wood. His own remarkable still photographs are Goldsworthy's way of talking about his often ephemeral works, of fixing them in time.. Now with this deeply moving film, shot in four countries and across four seasons, and the first major film he has allowed to be made, the elusive element of time adheres to his sculpture.
